How do I book a focus session?

The Calendar in FLOWN is the best way to structure and manage your focus sessions. With it, you can browse upcoming sessions, book the ones that fit your schedule, and track your activity, all in one place!

By using the Calendar regularly, you’ll always know what’s ahead, stay accountable to your goals, and create a weekly rhythm that keeps you focused and productive.


How it works

When you open the Calendar, you’ll find:

  • Open the Calendar

  • From the left-hand sidebar, click on the Calendar icon 📅.

  • This will take you straight to the schedule view, where you can start planning your week.

When you open the Calendar, you’ll see three main sections (see image below)

Navigation bar

  • Tabs at the top let you choose:

    • All → every available session.

    • Featured → highlighted sessions recommended for you.

    • Community → events hosted by other FLOWN members.

    • My sessions → your personalized view.

Date selector

  • Just below, scroll through the days of the week (Today, Tomorrow, Wed, Thu, etc.) to see what’s happening.

Daily schedule

  • A list of all the sessions scheduled for that day, divided by time.

  • Each session card includes:

    • Session name and duration.

    • Who’s hosting (with icons: ⭐ for FLOWN, 👥 for Community).

    • A button to either Join now (if it’s live) or Book (if it’s upcoming).

Session details

  • Click any session and see its full description on the right side of the screen.

  • You’ll find:

    • The session’s title, rules, and format.

    • How many members are attending.

    • Options to Join now, Book this session, or Share.


Community view

In the Community tab, you can explore sessions that FLOWN members are hosting.

  • The display works the same way as the main Calendar, so it’s easy to compare and book.

  • Filter by All, FLOWN, or Your Interests.


My sessions view

Here you can manage your own weekly commitments:

  • Attending → all the sessions you’ve booked.

  • Hosting → sessions you’ve created.

  • Past → a history of everything you’ve joined.

Tip: Start each Monday by reviewing the Calendar, booking a mix of focus sessions, and adding them to your personal schedule. It’s the easiest way to make sure your week stays structured and intentional.


Manage My Week

You can use our Manage My Week feature to easily keep track of your favorite sessions. With this tool, you can:

  • Select the facilitator-led focus sessions you want to attend regularly

  • Add them directly to your preferred calendar app

  • Get automatic updates whenever changes occur — no need to book each week

To find the Manage My Week feature, go to the 'Advanced' tab on the calendar:

Only recurring facilitator-led Focus Sessions (Power Hours, Deep Dives, and Take-Offs) can be added with Manage My Week. Community sessions and one-off events cannot be added this way.


Add all sessions to your calendar

Alternatively, you can add all FLOWN Focus Sessions to your calendar by subscribing to the FLOWN iCal link. This adds every session to your calendar so you can see what’s coming up at a glance.
