Sharing your sound with participants can enrich your session's atmosphere and make it more engaging. Here's a simple way to do it:
Click on the Share Screen button on your session control panel.
When the screen sharing options appear, select the browser tab that is playing the sound.
Before clicking Share, and make sure to tick the Share sound box located at the bottom of the panel. This will allow the sound playing in that browser tab to be heard by all participants in the session.
When sharing sound, requesting that other participants mute their microphones is important. This prevents any echo or feedback loops from occurring, ensuring a smooth and pleasant listening experience for everyone. Alternatively, as a host, you can also mute participants.
Currently, we cannot share sound without your sharing screen at the same time. Another way to enhance your session is by sharing a curated playlist that your participants play asynchronously (via their own music streaming service such as Spotify or iTunes).
Here's how:
Simply paste the Spotify link of your preferred playlist, song, or album into the chat.
You can also include the Spotify link in your session's Intentions. This allows participants to listen independently and control the volume to their liking.
