If you are having trouble joining a Focus Session (Power Hour, Deep Dive, or Community-Hosted) or the Drop-In, try these quick steps first.
If your session is browser-based (FLOWNspace):
Refresh your browser and try joining again
Make sure you are signed into your FLOWN account
Check that your browser permissions allow camera and microphone access
Clear your cookies and cache for FLOWN
Try opening FLOWN in an incognito window to rule out browser extensions
If the Drop-In isn't visible on your calendar, access it through the direct link to the Drop-In launchpad.
If your session is Zoom-based:
Confirm you are signed into FLOWN and click “Join session” from the calendar
Ensure you are logged into Zoom with the same email address as your FLOWN account
Make sure Zoom is up to date (update in Zoom settings if needed)
Quit and restart Zoom if you see a blank or loading screen
Other things to check
Make sure your internet connection is stable
If on a work computer, check that no firewall or VPN is blocking FLOWN or Zoom
If you are on a mobile device, try switching to a laptop or desktop
If you encounter difficulties joining a session or suspect there's a technical glitch when joining a session, and have tried the above, reach out to our support team.
